Windows 11 Visuals

When it comes to design, the difference between Windows 10 and 11 is quite vast. Like the interface of Mac, Windows 11 flaunts a style with more rounded corners and pastel colours. This was done for you, the user, to make for a more user-friendly, cleaner workspace.

Windows 11 boasts a new feature called “Snap Layouts”. Snap Layouts allow users to group their apps, making them easier to find. To give you a better idea, think of how you make folders on your phone and group together similar apps. For instance, you may have a folder called “Games” and that is where you would put all your gaming apps. Similarly, Snap Layouts allows for the same easy-to-find, easy-to-use feature. Ultimately, it was created to enhance productivity, allowing the user to logically arrange their apps and other windows.

Improvements in Windows 11

We are all thinking the same thing, we don’t just want changes, we want improvements. These improvements shouldn’t revolve around the visuals, but rather the performance, right? That is why we are happy to report that Windows 11 improvements include faster web browsing and quicker wake-up time from sleep mode. Living in an era where patience is thin and the need to access as much information as possible, as quickly as possible is of utmost importance, the speed of Windows 11 is very intriguing.

If that wasn’t good enough, any update that needs to run will be done in the background, so no need to stop what you are doing and wait for PC updates. More so, these updates are promised to be 40% smaller, which makes for a much quicker download and install time. This means, that your laptop or other devices, can enjoy extended battery life.

OS improvements and upgrades

Other points that have been improved upon are virtual desktop support, better widgets, enhanced touchscreen, voice, and pen support. For those of you that are gamers, you will be happy to know that there have been gaming upgrades. Did someone say that there has been an improvement in graphics quality? That sounds like every gamer’s dream! Further, the Xbox app has been completely overhauled allowing users to access the absolute best games created by Microsoft. If you love streaming your games onto social media platforms, like Twitch and YouTube, the improved Xbox app allows for this.

Overall Thoughts

Although Windows 10 has treated us well over the years, it is safe to say that Windows 11 caters to our constantly upgrading needs. It is clear to see that Microsoft is all about improving its offerings to its users.
